Committed to excellence in every endeavor, Heritage staff are dedicated to investing their gifts and talents to Kingdom work that is both satisfying and lasting. Heritage believes in the significant impact that teachers have on their students. As such, we hire and nurture teachers and staff who want to join a community of mature Christians who are dedicated and passionate about their work. Because we are committed to attracting and retaining gifted and qualified teachers and staff who demonstrate a love for God, for children, for learning, and for teaching, we spend a great deal of time recruiting and assessing potential candidates. Once hired, we commit ourselves to support and train our staff in further developing as classical Christian educators.

Enrichment II (Kindergarten) Teacher

Heritage Preparatory School seeks a talented individual to teach Enrichment II (Kindergarten) in the 2021-2022 academic year. Heritage is a Pre-K through 8th grade classical, Christian school located in midtown Atlanta, GA that is launching an upper school in the fall of 2021. The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching phonics and laying the foundation for students to become strong readers as well as someone who desires to help children develop godly habits at an early age and who has the ability to foster intellectual curiosity in students.

Enrichment II (Kindergarten) Teaching Assistant

Heritage Preparatory School seeks talented individuals to assist our Enrichment II (Kindergarten) Teachers in the 2021-2022 academic year. Heritage is a Pre-K through 8th grade classical, Christian school located in midtown Atlanta, GA that is launching an upper school in the fall of 2021. Class 5/Class 6
Grammar, Literature, & Writing Teacher

Heritage Preparatory School seeks talented individual to teach Grammar, Literature, and Writing to students in 5th and 6th grade for the 2021-2022 academic year. Faculty members for Class 5 and Class 6 work as a team and students rotate from class to class. Heritage is a Pre-K through 8th grade classical, Christian school located in midtown Atlanta, GA that is launching an upper school in the fall of 2021.

Lower School Teachers

Heritage Preparatory School seeks talented individuals to serve as lead teachers for Lower School classrooms for the 2021-2022 academic year. As Heritage expands to offer high school, a number of our current faculty are shifting into new roles, creating vacancies in the Lower School.

Lower School Art Teacher

Heritage Preparatory School seeks a talented individual to serve as the Lower School Art Teacher for students in grades Enrichment I (Pre-K) through Class 6 for the 2021-2022 academic year. As Heritage expands to offer high school, a number of our current faculty are shifting into new roles, creating vacancies in the Lower School. Faculty member will be expected to collaborate with the Fine Arts Chair and Upper School Art Teacher to create a cohesive Art curriculum for Heritage Preparatory School. A background in sculpture, ceramics, photography, graphic design, or interior design is preferred. There will be many opportunities for the Upper School Art teacher to collaborate with the Lower School Art teacher on larger school projects.

Substitute Teachers

Heritage Preparatory School is currently seeking qualified candidates for Substitute Teacher positions for the 2020-2021 school year.  A successful candidate should have experience teaching students in elementary or middle grades, exhibiting high relational and organization skills, with the demonstrated ability to shape study habits in students in these grades.  Substitute teachers must embrace a Christian world view that informs their approach to education in general. Applicants should submit an employment application.

High School Faculty Positions

Heritage Preparatory School seeks talented individuals for full-time high school faculty positions in the 2021-2022 academic year. The appointees selected for this position will develop and teach courses commensurate with their area(s) of expertise.
